Biography:
Bonnet earned a BFA in Drawing from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1998. Following graduation, he traveled the US and Europe amassing a library of subjects and images for his paintings. He showed in the 2005 Shadyside Arts Festival, and has had work accepted into the Westmoreland Arts Nationals. In June 2006 The Steel Valley Art Council featured him in a solo show at artspace 303.
Bonnet's work can be seen at the Renaissance Gallery of Fine Art in Carnegie, Blackwood Fine Art Gallery on Babcock Blvd. or by appointment at his Crafton studio: Pitttsburgh Encompassed He accepts private commission work and works with local charity events. As an artist, Cory Bonnet’s work continues to evolve. His subject matter spans the globe, but his work always comes home to Pittsburgh.

Growing up in the Pittsburgh area, Cory Bonnet has always appreciated the inherent beauty of the city and its surrounding neighborhoods. His paintings reflect the optimism and beauty he sees in his hometown.
